User Mode: Getting Started
After installing App:
- Ensure you are within 5 meters of the yachts stern or passerelle.
- Open the app and wait for the scan to complete.
- Stop the Scan after about 10 seconds if it does not stop automtically.
- If you see Unknown Device or Airlens Vxx, click Connect.
- Click the Red button marked User Settings - or the Elipsis Icon, Top Right Hand Corner.
- Enter your User ID given to you by the Owner / Captain.
- Enter the user Key or Password given to you by the Owner / Captain.
- Tap the Red Authenticate Button.
- The Red Authenticate Button should have turned Green
- You now have access to the passerelle / bathing platform (if fitted / granted).
- Next time you open the App beside the Yacht, the system will auto connect and auto authenticate you.
Owner Mode - First Time Use
Owner versus User Mode
It is important to distiguish between Owner Mode and User Mode.Owner mode is an administration function in the App where an Owner / Captain Manages their ships Users
Owners / Captains can:- Add Users
- Update Users
- Remove Users
- Set User ID's (Names)
- Set User Keys (Passwords)
- Bathing Platform Access Permissions
- Length of time granted to each user
Owner Mode does NOT grant access to any Passerelle or Bathing Platform controls - this is a User Mode function
An Owner / Captain therefore must also set themselves up as a user!
Do this as follows, then set up all your other users.- Ensure the passerelle is powered ON and functions correctly via the normal panel buttons and / or remote control fobs
- Open the app and wait for the scan to complete.
- Stop the Scan after about 10 seconds if it does not stop automtically.
- If you see Unknown Device or Airlens Vxx, click Connect.
- Under OWNER / Settings, enter the initial Owner Key - this should have been provided to you by the installer, along with instructions on how to access Owner Mode.
- Tap Unlock Owner Mode.
- Enter the Yachts Name and tap Save Vessel Name
- Under User Credentials, Enter a new USER ID and User key
- Decide the length of time to grant the user acccess - this can be from 1 to any number of hours - setting 0 hours means unlimited time.
- Tap Add/Update User
- The user list will automatically refresh with the new user
- Enter the details fo the next user - tap Add/Update user each time
- Continue adding users as appropriate
- Review and edit the users you have set up on the system, length of time, names etc directly in the list
- Lock Owner Mode using the Lock Owner Mode symbol
- Swipe DOWN from the top to exit Owner Mode or Tap Done
- Tap the Red User Settings button
- Enter your own user credentials that you previously set up - this is NOT the owner mode Code - do NOT use this as your own User Key
- You now have access to the passerelle / bathing platform (if fitted) and the button should have turned green.
- Next time you open the App beside the Yacht, the system will auto connect and authenticate you.

How do I reset my users?
On the settings screen, unlock Owner Mode. Tap “Reset Users” - this removes all users, except the owner.
Why isn’t the app working on my device?
Please ensure:
- Your app is updated to the latest version.
- Your iOS device is on the latest OS version.
- You have a stable internet connection.
If the issue continues, contact us with your device model and iOS version.
